Lifeloss is a Red/Yellow playstyle. Lifeloss focuses on losing your own Life as a source to gain benefits. Lifeloss cards include Red and Yellow cards which make you lose a small amount of Life, or gain benefits from losing Life. The Lifeloss playstyle is well known for their domination (aggro/control) decks, denying their opponent while bringing an army of rage.
Lifeloss also has a monored playstyle called "Tall Lifeloss" which unlike the normal Lifeloss, focuses on burning your own Life heavily to gain sheer value from certain cards like Void Cultist and Guest 666.
Pros:
- Can use some control and domination decks against them to their advantage, such as Burn.
- Lots of damage-based removal.
- Can kill their opponent quickly if used correctly.
- Insane buffing speed and potential.
- Decent card draw
Cons:
- Prone to backfiring, such as losing too much Life.
- Fighters can easily go to waste, especially against AoE.
- Red and Yellow do not have a lot of cards that can give you Life, making it easy to make the wrong move.
- Lack of proper dual color balancing; more Lifeloss cards are in Red than in Yellow.
